FileAttach

FileAttach allows you to send files via email from the command line. It can either use your installed email program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird) or Gmail.

FileAttach

Command Line Syntax:
FileAttach.exe <File1> [<File2> ...]

Example:
FileAttach.exe c:\temp\file.zip

By default the tool uses the installed email program. To use Gmail, edit FileAttach.exe.config and set UseGmail=True like shown below:

You still might ask yourself, why do I need that tool? I use it for example to send scanned documents as email from my Brother all in one printer. The Brother software has no built in support for Thunderbird, but with FileAttach you can get it working. Manual for Brother Devices
